The voice of our customers:
Statement by Mr. Reichel, Haendler & Nattermann :
"For our investment in a new gravure cylinder washing machine and a distillation unit, a project team consisting of RENZMANN and H&N staff was able to find two excellent solutions.
For the gravure cylinder washing machine, we designed a drawer that opens into the pressroom. The machine itself is installed in an explosion-proof area. All requirements (even the particularly stringent ones involving fire protection) were met in full.
The same project team evaluated the special conditions at H&N in order to select the right distillation unit for our needs. Today, we distil approx. 400 tons of solvent per year. The solvent is reused in production.
We thank the RENZMANN staff, and particularly the project leader Mr. Schank, for a successful cooperation that has produced optimum results."
Project report on the Renzmann washing system at AMCOR Rentsch AG
"After an intensive planning phase, we started constructing the new building for the washing room in the fall of 2004. We needed to find a solution that would guarantee a continuous loading of our three Lemanic 650 with printing cartridges and accessories in a three-shift operation. Since Rentsch specializes on small-volume jobs and developments, this means more than 6,000 cylinders and ink changes a year.
An important part of the system is the distillation unit. Our aim is to process all printing ink residues and the solvents from our production. The costs for disposal are to be reduced as far as possible. In the future, we want to avoid buying new solvent for the washing system. A short time operating the unit has confirmed our calculations.
Since the new washing building is located in a phreatic zone, special consideration had to be given to environmental aspects and requirements.
Once we had inspected and accepted the units on the Renzmann premises, we could begin with the transport and assembly of the equipment. After an intensive training of our operating staff, we could start production in our new washing building on April 29, on the occasion of an “innovation day” at our location in Rickenbach.
Looking back, there is no doubt that this project has been handled perfectly. The Renzmann staff actively supported us from the start, beginning with the planning phase. The project documentation, which we had to hand in to the authorities to obtain the operating license, proved to be exemplary. The equipment was assembled by highly competent staff who even managed to coordinate the activities of the experts at the “construction site“ no small task. The start-up was conducted on the exact day we had planned. I am convinced that we have built up a partnership with Renzmann that will last far beyond this installation."
