Renzmann participates again in Girls' Day 2026 and opens doors to technology

Monzingen, January 29, 2026 – Renzmann GmbH is once again participating in the nationwide Girls' Day – Future Day for Girls in 2026, sending a clear signal for the promotion of young talent, diversity, and equal opportunities in technical professions. On Thursday, April 23, 2026, female students aged 12 and above will have the opportunity to get to know the company and its technical apprenticeships in a practical setting.

Electrical engineer and industrial mechanic for a day

The focus of Girls' Day at Renzmann is on the live experience of machine manufacturing. Part of the day is devoted to electrical engineering, where participants try their hand at typical training activities such as assembling and wiring components, reading simple circuit diagrams, and measuring and testing electrical quantities.

The second part of the day takes place in the training workshop for industrial mechanics. There, the students also get hands-on experience and practice basic skills such as turning, drilling, filing, and measuring, as well as assembling components. The aim is to reduce reservations and make technology an exciting, creative, and future-proof career field. All participants also go home with their own project.

After several years of absence, returning to the competition is an important step for Renzmann:

We want to use Girls' Day again to spark enthusiasm for our apprenticeship professions and show how diverse and exciting work in industry can be. Personal contact and hands-on experience are particularly valuable in this regard," explains Dr. Karsten Hoyndorff, CEO of Renzmann GmbH.

Girls' Day is a nationwide project for stereotype-free career orientation and is aimed specifically at girls, introducing them to professions and courses of study in which women are currently underrepresented. Studies show that the campaign day has a lasting effect.
