Printgraph achieved an important milestone at the recent Paperex trade fair in New Delhi, one of the largest and most influential trade fairs for the global paper and related industries. With the Indian market for paper, packaging, and related manufacturing sectors growing steadily, Paperex attracts a diverse audience—from paper mills and converters to chemical suppliers and packaging specialists. This year, the trade fair also provided a stage to introduce Renzmann to the Indian market for the first time.

For Renzmann's sales representative Printgraph, the main goal of participating in Paperex was to promote its coating and printing machine solutions, which are specifically tailored to paper applications. As with every trade fair Printgraph attends, the company strategically used the opportunity to showcase its entire product portfolio. This made Paperex the ideal time to introduce Renzmann's cleaning machines and solvent distillation systems to a new and rapidly developing market.

The Indian packaging sector, particularly the flexible packaging segment, is undergoing profound change. With the emergence of single-use alternatives and paper-based packaging, Paperex naturally attracts visitors from industries outside traditional paper processing. Throughout the trade fair, Printgraph welcomed numerous flexible packaging manufacturers to its stand, including several long-standing customers. The team introduced them to the new collaboration with Renzmann and highlighted how advanced cleaning and distillation solutions can increase production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve process reliability.

Despite growing interest, Printgraph acknowledges that ongoing awareness of automated cleaning solutions and solvent recovery will be an important part of the process. Many flexible packaging companies in India are family-run and continue to rely on manual cleaning methods. Automated systems, such as those offered by Renzmann, are still relatively new in this segment and require time, training, and continuous market presence to achieve widespread acceptance. A similar trend can be observed in parts of the paper processing industry, where automated cleaning technologies are not yet standard despite their clear advantages in terms of quality, safety, and sustainability.

However, the event served not only as a platform for the product launch, but also as a valuable opportunity to gain insights into customer needs and the industry's attitude toward modernization.

Looking ahead, Printgraph is preparing for its next major milestone: PlastIndia 2026, scheduled to take place from February 5 to 10, 2026. As one of Asia's largest trade fairs for plastics and related technologies, PlastIndia offers an even more far-reaching platform to position Renzmann, connect with decision-makers, and expand its reach into the packaging market.
